Privacy Policy

Gapodox® is a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Gapodox® at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Gapodox® unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

The cookie that keeps you signed in is always set. On the web we also set, for every visitor and not only those who arrive from an ad, a cookie that remembers for 90 days the site that referred you, the page you first landed on, the campaign tags in that link and any ad click identifiers, with a copy in your browser's storage until you clear it, so we can tell which campaign brought you to us. It contains no personal data and is shared with no one, except as described under Advertising Conversions below.

On the web, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used: which pages are visited, for how long, where visitors come from, and basic browser and device information. Google Analytics sets a cookie containing a random identifier so that repeat visits from the same browser count as one visitor. It does not receive your name, email address, account details, or the contents of your portfolios and trades. When you buy a subscription we report the purchase to Google Analytics with the plan, the amount and an invoice reference, so we can measure which campaigns lead to subscriptions; this stops if you decline analytics cookies. When you accept cookies, or visit from a region where no consent is needed, Google may also set its conversion-linker cookies (_gcl_*) so that a click on one of our Google ads can be matched to a later sign-up or subscription; they are removed when you decline. We have switched off the options that would let Google use the data to personalise ads or link it to Google accounts, and Google processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms. Every analytics request passes through our own servers first, which forward only a fixed list of fields, including your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your location and states it does not store. User-level analytics data is retained for 14 months. The mobile apps do not use Google Analytics.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only after you accept them, and the Service works fully if you decline. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the side menu. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block the sign-in cookie, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Advertising Conversions

We tell the ad networks we advertise on, Meta and Google, when you create an account and when you pay for a subscription, so they can measure which of their ads work. Our own servers send these messages; we do not run Meta's tracking pixel. Each message to Meta contains the event (sign-up or subscription), a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and of your account number, your IP address, your browser type and, if you arrived through one of Meta's ads, that ad's click identifier, which Meta uses to match the event to its ads. For a subscription payment it also contains the amount, the currency and a payment reference, so the same payment is never counted twice. Because a payment is confirmed after you have left the checkout page, we keep the IP address and browser type seen at your latest checkout with your account for this reporting, and replace them at your next checkout. Google receives these events through Google Analytics, as described above, and never your email address. Your name, portfolios and trades are never sent.

We report these events for every user who accepted cookies or who visits from a region where no consent is needed, and stop if you decline cookies via "Cookie preferences" in the side menu. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we report them only if you accepted cookies, and you can withdraw that at any time the same way. Your choice is saved with your account, so it also applies to a subscription you buy later. Accounts without a recorded choice are not reported.

But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. In the case we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
